“Over the past several years, we have transformed Fortune Brands and built an exceptional company for the future. Now, we are unveiling the FBIN Blueprint, which more clearly reflects who Fortune Brands Innovations is, what we want to do, and how we want to do it.
Our Blueprint starts with our new company Purpose, which is: We Elevate Every Life by Transforming Spaces into Havens.
Our Purpose is an ambitious and stretching articulation of the impact we want to create for our customers, and for the world.
Our Strategic Drivers – Brands that Create Impact; Partner that Sets the Pace; Ecosystems that Change the Game; and Fuel that Powers our Purpose – help to clarify and prioritize our work toward areas of the greatest growth.
Finally, by exemplifying the Behaviors in our Blueprint, Think Big, Learn Fast; Work It Together; and Make the Hard Call, our teams will be pushed to work differently to unlock a step-change in growth that will help us reach our ambitions.
The FBIN Blueprint is an important step in our journey where we continue to align under one strategy to enact the most positive impacts possible for our business, our communities and the planet.
I worked hand-in-hand with company leaders to develop this Blueprint in a carefully crafted creation and rollout process. We listened to candid feedback from our associates who shared their views on FBIN’s strengths, areas for improvement, and ideas for moving forward. We invited over 100 of our top leaders to an on-site session – pictured below – where we discussed, clarified and aligned around the elements of the Blueprint. This was one of my favorite parts of the process, because I was so excited to bring our leaders into the discussion, and the positive energy in the room was palpable. We clearly walked away seeing the value of this important alignment tool, and excited for the future.
Upon this milestone of unveiling our new Purpose and FBIN Blueprint, I want to give my heartfelt thanks to our company leaders, for all the associates who shared feedback as part of this process, and to the full FBIN team for their support as we have launched the FBIN Blueprint.
